We have some incredible volunteers who give their time & energy freely & do some amazing work supporting DAFS, but we are always looking for more volunteers to work with us. Having lived experience to draw upon as an 'affected other' is desirable but not essential for all rolesif you have other qualities that we are looking for.

DAFS is a grass roots, not-for-profit charity, supporting families & friends with loved ones suffering from drug or alcohol addiction, through compassion & empathy borne from our own lived experience.

Our volunteer facilitators hold regular support groups across Milton Keynes, Bedford & Leighton Buzzard, giving families (18+) a safe, confidential & non-judgemental environment to meet others & build connections.

We empower families to build resilience & knowledge so they can cope better, regardless of their loved one’s choices.
